The Placer County Sheriff’s Mounted Patrol Unit is working on a few surprises! We are excited to announce that our Mounted Patrol Unit will be joining Honor Guard at community events, parades, and local funerals of fallen officers. This month, they incorporated new aspects such as flags, drums, and a 21 gun salute into their training to get the horses used to the loud noises at Honor Guard events.
