Communities across Jamaica are beginning the long road to recovery after Hurricane Melissa’s devastating impacts. Direct Relief’s emergency response team is on the ground supporting local partners, including the Jah Jah Foundation, to restore access to care for families affected by the storm. In Catherine Hall, families who lost everything are working to clean and rebuild amid heavy flooding and mud. Many people living with medical conditions received care for the first time since the hurricane.
